Summoning a golem in Diablo 4. Preparing for Quest
It is not for the faint-hearted. It takes a lot of skill, courage, and wisdom. You must be at least Level 25 to embark on this exciting journey.
The game requires you to prove your mettle before you can summon golems. To do this, you must complete the Skeletal Warriors or Skeletal Mages tasks. Remember, practice makes perfect.
Once you reach level 25, the quest “Necromancer – Call of the Underworld”, will appear in your quest log and guide you to the ultimate task of summoning golems. This quest will take you to the mysterious Shrine of Rathma located northwest of Menestad.
This shrine is where your journey begins. You’ll meet Maltorius here, a character who will be pivotal in your golem-seizing quest. After a cutscene that is both immersive and exciting, the quest begins.
You will be given a primary task by Maltorius to collect 12 Unbroken Bones. These are the remains of fallen enemies that can be found in the area around the shrine. This fetch quest is not just a scavenger-hunt; it’s an assessment of your abilities as a Necromancer in Diablo 4. It will determine your readiness to summon Golems. You can summon your first Golem by proving your worth.
The next step of your quest takes you to a nearby cave where a hideous artifact is hidden. The Jar of Souls is a central part of the quest. It is located in a cave filled with mystery and danger. This monolithic sculpture must be filled with the souls your defeated enemies. It will gradually fill up as you defeat foes in the cave.
The progress bar below the quest helps you track your progress in filling up this jar. Maltorius will return to guide you in your quest once the Jar of Souls has been filled with the essence of defeated enemies.
After completing the ritual, you will be able to summon a Golem. You will see a new skill when you open your Skill Assignment Menu (press “S”). It is your hard-earned Golem skill.
Assign this powerful ability to your active skill bar and prepare for your first Golem call. The balance of power shifts to your advantage when the Golem is at your side. The Golem can draw enemy aggro with its active skill, reducing the damage it takes for six crucial second.
Different types of golems
