Zhongli, the strongest shielder of the game, is even stronger than Baizhu. He is best suited as a support, but can also be used as a burst sub DPS. He can be used in almost any team composition and is a valuable unit to protect glass cannons such as Genshin Impact’s Xiao. His low-range geo application means that he does not interfere with most elemental interaction and can create shields using the crystallize reactions to keep other members of the party safer for longer.
His burst is a great tool, dealing a lot of damage and frightening enemies in a large AoE. His normal and charged attacks can also pack a powerful punch in the right situations. If built for damage, he can do some amazing numbers. Zhongli, as a unit, is very flexible and powerful. It is also a mainstay for most of our teams.
What are the best Genshin Impact Zhongli Weapons?
The weapon you choose for Zhongli will depend on the role you plan to use him. As a sub-DPS for geo, the Staff of Homa is the best Genshin Impact Zhongli WeaponThe Primordial Jade Winged Spear is the best burst sub-DPS, but Deathmatch, with its high crit rate, is also a good choice. Skyward Spine is the best sub-DPS for bursts, replacing Staff of Homa. This is the best option if you are a free-to-play player. What are the abilities of Genshin Impact Zhongli?
Zhongli is a shielder who is primarily used for his elemental skills. Hold it and a Stone Stele will appear. You’re now safe in a shield. His elemental blast is a force that must be feared as it can pack an enormous punch.

You can increase Zhongli’s geo damage by fully ascending him. Geo Hypostasis drops Prithiva Topaz and Basalt pillars in the Guyun Stone Forest. You can either farm Cor Lapis on Liyue mountain regions or buy it from Changsun at Liyue Harbor. Slimes, of course, drop the slimes.
